UXD TALKS PRIVATE LIMITED  

SECTION 1: TERMS & CONDITIONS – 

• Must be 18+; minors require verified parental/guardian consent.
• Registration information must be accurate and complete.

• We collect: name, phone, email, educational/professional info, payment info, profile images, event recordings, WhatsApp preferences.
• Purposes: event coordination, community engagement, marketing, course sales, recordings, advertising.
• Marketing consent is explicit and auditable; you can withdraw anytime (does not affect prior lawful processing).

• By providing your number, you consent to official UXD Talks groups.
• Other participants may see your info; UXD Talks is not liable for misuse.
• Groups may be moderated for safety and professionalism.

• Sessions may be recorded (audio/video/chat/screen).
• You grant UXD Talks perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to record, edit, reproduce, monetize, and distribute content.
• Optional consent: visible notice displayed; camera/microphone may be turned off.

• Recordings may be monetized; UXD Talks retains all rights.
• Participants waive claims to royalties, profit share, or compensation.

• All materials, branding, recordings, frameworks are exclusive IP.
• Unauthorized redistribution or resale is prohibited; technical safeguards may be used.

• Guest speakers sign a Speaker Release & Indemnity Agreement.
• Speakers indemnify UXD Talks against IP/copyright claims.

• Participants must own rights to shared content and indemnify UXD Talks.
• UXD Talks reserves moderation rights.

• Fees are non-refundable unless stated.
• Misconduct or violation does not entitle refunds.
• Attendance and payment logs used for dispute resolution.

• UXD Talks does not guarantee jobs, internships, income, or career outcomes.

• No indirect/consequential damages; liability capped at fees paid in past 3 months.

• Not liable for events beyond reasonable control: outages, disasters, government restrictions.

• Personal data stored securely; reasonable safeguards and encryption in place.
• DPDP-compliant; deletion requests honored unless recordings have prior commercial consent.

• All disputes resolved via binding arbitration, Gaya, Bihar.
• No class action or representative claims.

• Screenshots/images may be used in campaigns/paid ads; explicit consent required.

• UXD Talks not liable for exposure, virality, or emotional distress; visible notice displayed.

• Terms may be updated; continued use is acceptance.
• Governed by laws of India; courts in Gaya, Bihar for interim relief.

SECTION 2: PRIVACY POLICY (DPDP COMPLIANT)

• Personal data: name, email, phone, education, payment info, images, recordings, WhatsApp preferences.

• Event management, communication, community engagement, marketing, course promotion, recordings for commercial use.

• Consent (explicit checkboxes), contractual necessity, legitimate interests.

• Only with service providers or as legally required; no third-party sale.

• Encrypted servers, restricted access, regular audits.

• Access, correction, deletion (per DPDP Act), withdraw consent for marketing.
• Recordings with prior consent may remain commercially used.

• Retained as needed for operations; commercial recordings may be retained perpetually.

• Website uses cookies for analytics; user may disable.

• Policy updates posted with effective date; continued use = acceptance.

SECTION 3: SPEAKER RELEASE & INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

• Speaker grants UXD Talks perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to record, monetize, and distribute presentations.

• Speaker warrants content is original or licensed.
• Perpetual commercial license granted; no revenue claims allowed.

• Speaker indemnifies UXD Talks against copyright, IP, or legal claims from their content.

• Content lawful, non-defamatory, and compliant with regulations.

• Speaker consents to recording and monetization.

• Indian law; arbitration in Gaya, Bihar.

• Agreement cannot be revoked once event completed; perpetual license survives.
