Accountability in Generative UX: Who Owns the Design in 2026? The article examines the growing accountability challenge in generative UX as AI moves from design assistance to autonomous interface creation. It explores intent-based interaction, AI-generated interfaces, human-in-the-loop auditing, evolving design workflows, spatial and multimodal UX, intelligent design systems, and emerging roles such as AI UX Designer and Design System Engineer.
