Do I need prior UX experience to join?
No prior UX experience is required. However, learners should be prepared to commit time to assignments, projects, portfolio development, and self-study throughout the program.
What makes Career Track different from Foundations?
While Foundations focuses on building core UX and Product Design skills, the Career Track extends the curriculum with portfolio development, case study creation, resume building, LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, mock interviews, and career readiness support.
What will I learn in this program?
You will learn UX fundamentals, user research, information architecture, user flows, wireframing, UI design, design systems, prototyping, AI-powered UX workflows, portfolio development, case study writing, personal branding, and interview preparation.
Will I build a portfolio?
Yes. Portfolio development is a key component of the Career Track. Learners will work on projects and learn how to present their work effectively through professional case studies and portfolio presentations.
How many portfolio projects will I create?

Yes. AI is integrated throughout the program. Learners will explore how AI can support research, synthesis, ideation, design exploration, design systems, prototyping, and productivity while maintaining strong UX fundamentals.
What tools will be used during the course?
The program primarily uses Figma, Figma AI, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini & Notebook LM. Additional tools may be introduced where relevant to the learning objectives.
Does the Career Track include Figma Professional?
Yes. Learners enrolled in the Career Track receive Figma Professional access for the duration specified in their cohort offering.
What is the duration of the program?
The UXIFC Career Track runs for 20 weeks and includes live cohort-based learning, assignments, projects, portfolio work, and career preparation activities.
What are the class timings?
Classes are generally conducted every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM IST. Timings may occasionally be adjusted due to holidays, special sessions, guest lectures, or operational requirements. Learners will be notified in advance whenever possible.
Yes. The program is delivered through live online sessions that encourage participation, discussions, and interaction with the instructor and fellow learners.
Will recordings be available?
Yes. Session recordings are provided to enrolled learners for revision and self-paced review.
Are assignments mandatory?

Is there an admission process?
Yes. Applicants are required to complete a short aptitude assessment designed to evaluate problem-solving ability, observation skills, communication, learning mindset, and user-centric thinking.
Is the course fee a one-time payment?
Yes. Enrollment is confirmed only after successful payment of the full course fee.
No. UXD Talks currently does not offer EMI options, installment plans, education loans, or partial payment arrangements.
Can I reserve my seat with a partial payment?
No. Seats can only be confirmed after the full course fee has been paid.
What is the refund policy?
Refund requests must be submitted in writing within seven (7) calendar days from the first scheduled live session. Refund eligibility, deductions, timelines, and calculations are governed by the official UXD Talks Refund Policy and Terms & Conditions.
What happens if I miss a live session?
If you miss a live class, you can access the session recording and continue learning without falling behind.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Learners who successfully satisfy the program completion requirements will receive an official UXIFC Career Track Certificate issued by UXD Talks.
What are the completion requirements?
Certificates are awarded only to learners who meet the completion criteria established by UXD Talks, which may include participation requirements, assignments, project submissions, and other academic expectations communicated during the program.
Can I transfer my enrollment to another person?
No. Course enrollments are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered learner.
Can I switch to a future cohort?
Requests for cohort transfers or deferrals may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Any approved transfer will be subject to the policies applicable at that time.
