UXIFC Foundations is designed for students, fresh graduates, working professionals, entrepreneurs, and career switchers who want to learn UX Design, Product Thinking, and AI-powered design workflows from the ground up. No prior design experience is required.
Do I need a design background to join?
No. The course is specifically designed for beginners and starts with the fundamentals of UX Design before progressing into research, design, prototyping, and AI-assisted workflows.
What will I learn in this course?
You will learn UX fundamentals, design thinking, user research, information architecture, personas, customer journey mapping, user flows, wireframing, visual design, design systems, prototyping, Figma, and modern AI-powered UX workflows used by product teams today.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. Upon successfully meeting the program completion requirements, learners will receive an official UXIFC Foundations Certificate of Completion issued by UXD Talks. Certificates are awarded to participants who actively engage with the program and satisfy the academic and participation criteria outlined during the course.
How is AI integrated into the course?
AI is embedded throughout the learning experience. You will learn how to use AI to accelerate research, synthesize insights, generate ideas, create journey maps, explore design solutions, build design systems, and improve overall productivity as a designer.
The course primarily uses Figma, Figma AI, ChatGPT, Gemini and Notebook LM. The focus is on learning practical workflows and problem-solving approaches rather than mastering a large number of tools.
What is the duration of the course?
The UXIFC Foundations program runs for 16 weeks and consists of live instructor-led sessions conducted online.
What are the class timings?
Classes are generally conducted every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM IST. While we aim to maintain a consistent schedule, timings may occasionally be adjusted due to holidays, special sessions, guest lectures, or operational requirements. Learners will be informed in advance whenever possible.
Yes. All sessions are conducted live and provide opportunities for interaction, discussions, questions, and collaborative learning.
Will I get access to session recordings?
Yes. Recordings of the live sessions are made available to enrolled learners for revision and self-paced learning.
Are there assignments and practical exercises?
Yes. Learners will complete assignments, exercises, and hands-on activities throughout the course to reinforce concepts and apply them to real-world scenarios.
Will I work on projects during the course?
Yes. The course includes guided exercises and practical projects that help learners apply the UX process and build confidence in solving user problems.
Will I build a portfolio in Foundations?
The primary objective of Foundations is to build strong UX and Product Design fundamentals. Dedicated portfolio development, case studies, and career preparation are covered in the UXIFC Career Track.
Live attendance is highly recommended to maximize learning outcomes and participation. However, session recordings are provided to support learners who may occasionally miss a class.
Is there an admission process?
Yes. Applicants are required to complete a short aptitude assessment designed to evaluate observation skills, problem-solving ability, communication, learning mindset, and user-centric thinking. No prior UX knowledge is required.
How many students are accepted per cohort?
Cohort sizes are intentionally limited to ensure a high-quality learning experience, meaningful discussions, and personalized guidance wherever possible.
Is the course fee a one-time payment?
Yes. Enrollment is confirmed only after the full course fee has been paid. There are no recurring charges or hidden fees.
No. UXD Talks currently does not offer EMI options, installment plans, education loans, or partial payment arrangements.
Can I reserve my seat with a partial payment?
No. Seats can only be confirmed after successful payment of the full course fee.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments can be made through major payment methods, including UPI, credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and supported payment wallets.
What is the refund policy?
Refund requests must be submitted in writing within seven (7) calendar days from the first scheduled live session. All refund requests are governed by the official UXD Talks Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

When am I not eligible for a refund?
Refunds will not be granted after 50% of the scheduled sessions have been completed, after certification has been issued, after course completion, if 50% or more recordings or learning resources have been accessed, or in cases involving misconduct or policy violations.
How is the refund amount calculated?
Approved refunds are calculated in accordance with the UXD Talks Refund Policy. Refund amounts may be adjusted based on course consumption, accessed resources, applicable taxes, payment gateway fees, administrative charges, and other deductions specified in the policy. Are there any non-refundable charges?
Yes. GST already remitted, payment gateway charges, banking charges, and a ₹2,500 administrative fee are non-refundable and will be deducted from approved refunds.
How long does it take to receive a refund?
Approved refunds are generally processed within 15–21 working days from the date of approval.
What happens if I miss a class?
If you miss a live session, you can access the session recording and continue learning without falling behind.
Can I transfer my enrollment to someone else?
No. Course enrollments are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered learner.
Can I switch to a future cohort?
Requests for cohort transfers or deferrals may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Any approved transfer will be subject to the policies applicable at that time.
